I just received this watch from amazon. It comes very nicely packaged. The watch is solid and attractive. The ladies version is chunky but not too manly so be aware of this style. The date is small at the bottom, if your eyesight is not very good it may be difficult to see. The clasp is unusual in that it has an “S” in the middle allowing you to only close a particular side first but it makes the band look unique when closed. The blue numbers and hands are a nice contrast to the usual black or gray against a white face. It was a struggle to find a clean looking, affordable tank watch with the date display. This watch fulfills those categories nicely.

This Stuhrling Ladies Watch is well worth the cost and easily one of the best gifts that I purchased for my fiance for Christmas. It is very classy and comes packaged in a really nice box. She was elated to recieve it and it is classy enough for special nights out, but she also likes to wear it occasionally for daily wear to work. I would highly recommend this for a gift for your loved one.

I love this watch – It is such nice quality. The jeweler I took it to for sizing complimented me on the workmanship. It is heavy, solid and looks great. The packaging makes a nice presentation if you are buying for a gift.

This is a beautiful watch, but the crystal ruined it for me. Because of the shape of the crystal it distorted the numbers “3″ & “9″, making it a distraction that I found unacceptable for this quality of watch. A round watch-face would probably not have this problem.

I got this watch in 1995 and it has been a workhorse. I wore it nearly every day and banged it around a lot but it never failed me. It has been the most rugged, durable, and accurate watch I ever owned. After a dozen years my daughter lost it otherwise who knows how long it would have lasted me. I ordered another one just like it.

I received this watch as a gift some years back and was almost instantly disappointed with it. A week into ownership the movement froze and ceased functioning after a long walk in the snow. Later, the whole crown came out completely. The watch was replaced under warrantee (but it took nearly three months to receive a new one), but a year or so later it happened again when the watch was out of warrantee.

Ultimately, I was really disappointed by the workmanship of this product. There are certainly much better watches out there for the price.

I have a drawer full of watches and this is one of my favorites. It came with the brown leather strap, which I liked, but I think the stainless steel bracelet is better, especially if you get it wet a lot like I do. I have had the battery replaced twice in 6 years, so about what would be expected.

I bought a black face with brown leather from elsewhere for 50% off. It’s a great watch to wear with shirt and tie. Been happy with Wenger watch for 10 years until it died from getting wet. I thought of doing other brand before finding this type on sale. Good bargain for my xmas present.

My husband’s birthday was the perfect “excuse” to buy him another Stuhrling — and one for me as well. I chose the “Marquis” because we needed silver watches and this style had matching ones for men and women. We have been so pleased with the first Stuhrling watches we bought that we considered only Stuhrling for our next purchase because these Swiss watches are superb quality. The “Marquis” has a tailored look with an easy-to-read face. It has a secure, easy-to-use deployment clasp. My husband’s fits him perfectly; mine is just a little too big. But they keep perfect time and are perfect overall. And all Stuhrlings come in the distinctive orange box which makes a very attractive presentation for gift-giving. These watches are built to last and are well worth the price.

This watch was exactly what i was looking for.It’s very slim and light weight.It is very plain but elegant.It is stylish but not overly so. The price was right and it arrived in less than 2 days.That was amazing considering the distance it travelled. I’m completely satisfied with this purchase.
